West Boca Fundraiser for Gilda's Club

gilda'sclub2014Gilda’s Club South Florida is having its annual Glamour in the Woods Red Door Luncheon on April 11th at the Woodfield Country Club. All proceeds go directly to fund the FREE support and programs they offer for everyone living with cancer, along with their families, friends and caregivers. Tickets are $75. The luncheon starts at 11 a.m.
Gilda’s Club South Florida is located in Ft. Lauderdale. Gilda’s Club is named in honor of comedian Gilda Radner, one of the original cast members of Saturday Night Live.

ReachFest appearing in West Boca

Inner_ReachFESTpageReachFest will be live at Sunset Cove Amphitheater on April 12th 2014 from 3 to 10 p.m. General admission tickets are $30 and can be purchased online.
This event is being billed as a night of music and a chance to strengthen your relationship with God. Colton Dixon placed seventh on the eleventh season of American Idol. He debuted an original song “Never Gone” while on the American Idol tour.
 

Music Fest at the Delray Marketplace

Thursday nights are music nights at the amphitheater at Delray Marketplace. From 5-7 p.m., guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the free music. The lineup includes The 100 Proof Band on April 3rd, 33 Years on April 10th, Dryvin’ South Bank on April 17th and String Theory on April 24th. The 100 Proof Band plays tributes to Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond.
Delray Marketplace is located at 14851 Lyons Road, west of the Florida Turnpike. Before the show, stop by one of the many restaurants and shops. New stores are opening all the time.

Boca Ballet Fundraising Event

Boca Ballet Theatre has performances coming up in May and August at Olympic Heights High School. To support their Dance Fest in May, they’re doing a fundraiser at the Addison Gallery in Delray Beach, on Friday April 4th from 6-8 pm.

Addison Gallery is located at 206 NE 2nd Street in the Pineapple Grove Arts District, and hosts works from contemporary artists.

The fundraiser is called An Evening of Art, Cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres.

Dance Fest – A Repertory Concert will take place Saturday, May 3rd (8 pm) and Sunday, May 4th (2 pm) at Olympic Heights Performing Arts Theater in West Boca (20101 Lyons Road).
