This is one of the worst group of inspections we’ve seen in a long time. 3 restaurants were closed by inspectors. 12 restaurants had 20 or more violations. Two had 10 or more high priority violations. And there’s some good news, mostly at Town Center Mall.
We report on several bad inspections in and around West Boca, including popular Japanese, Burger, Mexican, Asian, French, Breakfast, Italian and more. There are total of over 40 inspections this week. Also some good news for an expensive steakhouse, a cheap breakfast place, a relatively new Asian restaurant, and a popular West Boca pizza joint.
Inspectors were busy the past two weeks. The biggest news is roaches found in Royal Palm restaurant, along with another one in the plaza with over 30 violations. This report covers 52 inspections.
Boca area restaurants had a good week. Out of 24 inspections in this week’s report, the worst number was 7 violations. Nearly all the restaurants had 4 or fewer, which is excellent.
