Samaritan365 Teaches Children to Be Good Samaritans

Screen Shot 2014-10-17 at 11.18.48 AMThe Samaritan365 Foundation is holding a meeting for parents, children and members of the community who want to get involved with the Foundation on October 28th at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested, please call Shari Dragos at 561-306-7046. The mission of the foundation is to teach children to become active members of their communities and learn to give back.
Their goal is to have every school offer an after school program. The after school clubs  meet once a month and local organizations send a speaker to talk about how their organization makes a difference in the community. The children do a hands on project to help that organization. The Samaritan Foundation has run a program at Sunrise Park for six years and recently created clubs at Water’s Edge Elementary and Eagles Landing Middle School.
