The color pattern you see on a snake is important.
Though cute these little guys pack a deadly bite. If you have kids you need to teach them about these guys. Red touches yella you are a dead fella.
Or as another resident put it:
Red on yellow, kill a fellow….red on black, friend of Jack.
Still another resident said that the best advice is to steer clear of all snakes.
