Crime seems down a bit in late March as a result of the shutdown. The most notable incident involves lewd behavior with a minor. Also domestic violence, a couple DUI cases, and more. Neighborhoods include Boca Falls, Loggers’ Run, Sandalfoot Cove, Palmetto Pines and Villa San Remo.

21 Violations at a Chinese Restaurant; Japanese Closed

We see only one inspection since March 26th. It appears that inspections have stopped. Most of the inspections in this report are from mid-March. We have 98 inspections in our spreadsheet.

One West Boca restaurant had 21 violations, a local Italian place had 15, and a Central Boca Mediterranean restaurant had 18 violations. An East Boca Japanese restaurant was forced to close for a day.

Florida Man Attacks Ice Cream Truck – Lakes at Boca

Corona virus causes Lakes at Boca man to attack Ice Cream truck. Battery in Loggers Run, and Woodfield; DUI on Clint Moore in West Boca for a Polo Club woman, and an innocent woman charged with DUI in East Boca; an East Boca robbery; and an East Boca youth points a gun at a cop in an unmarked car.
