The Shores at Boca Raton is a gated development on the north side of Yamato Road west of Cain Boulevard. Its entrance is across from the north entrance to South County Regional Park.
The community has over 300 homes, with a number of 5 bedroom models on 2 floors over 3000 square feet, some 4 bedroom models on 1 floor under 3000 square feet, and a few models that are either larger or smaller.
Kids in The Shores mainly go to nearby Sunrise Park Elementary and Eagles Landing Middle School. Older kids are zoned for Olympic Heights High School though some go to choice programs at West Boca High or Spanish River High. All are top rated schools.
The neighborhood’s location at the west end of Yamato Road has it partially surrounded by land that will likely never be developed including the park to the south and land to the west that is owned by the water management district. Just beyond that is the Loxahatchee Refuge.
