The West Boca Community Council will have its first meeting of the year on January 14th. The event starts at 7:30 pm and takes place at the Boca Lago clubhouse.
For the first time we’ve seen, there doesn’t appear to be a speaker. It’s billed as an Open Forum, for members of the community to tell the council about “all that matters to you.”
It is also being treated as something of a New Year party, and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
The council is “an umbrella organization of more than 200 homeowner and condominium member associations,” and claims to serve as the voice for West Boca. From what we’ve seen it’s a good group. However, it is more closely aligned with the homeowners’ associations than with the residents of West Boca.
